Lately I've been having issues that I can't figure out how to solve.
The bar along the bottom is missing where I am.
I've been doing some database entries so have multiple tabs open occasionally and minimize often to check my photos. Well, if I don't notice it's missing and minimize, I can't bring all of it back up again!!

I hope this makes sense, here's a screenshot showing what I mean. How come this s happening?

Lee Ann, is it missing only when you have firefox open, or all the time?

It only matters when Firefox is open. I don't think I was clear enough. Here's a screenshot of how the bottom bar should look. If I minimize the page I can click on the *whatever it's called* to bring the page back up. Sometimes the *whatever it's called* isn't there though so if I minimize the page without noticing it's missing I can't bring the page back up...

I understand what you are saying, and I'm at a loss for an answer...I've never had the tabs not show up there. However if you have many tasks open, you run out of room on the task bar, and a white arrow should show up as below to select the task you wish to go to. Is this on WindowsXP or Windows7?

Lee Anne, put your cursor just under the scroll bar and just above the blank area below it. See if a set of vertical arrows appear. You might have to gently move your cursor to find the exact spot. If so, hold down your left mouse button and drag the cursor upwards.

You might have minimized the task bar itself.

The task bar is always there. I've never *knock on wood* had a missing task bar.

I think I found your problem.

1. Right click on the task bar.
2. Select Properties.
3. Make sure the radial button "Keep the task bar on top of windows is selected.
4. Then click OK. See if that fixes it.

I looked, that's already checked.

The *whatever it's called* is showing now..but it occasionally disappears, not an ongoing issue...but annoying enough.

Hope it works for ya....
I imagine FF will get it worked out if others are being affected by it, too.
Happy Day to ya!

So I wonder if that means I should not accept the next WindowsXP request to upgrade my system...lol! No problems here so far.
