Wow is right! I wonder if my hubby would give up my cotton for this? We plant cotton every year for the old folks in our town (pop. 100). They love it and it definitely brings back memories. I have a special strain but it's nothing like this. Mine is more for production than show. Pity.

This weekend's game is a selfish one.

The prize is your choice of a few dust like seeds from the plant pictured below or 15 recently purchased commercial seeds for Zinnia 'Redman Supercactus.'

This plant grew in a container in 1/2 day shade, was less than 12 inches tall, and I forgot what it was. Sighing! In case I typed that too fast out of embarrassment, I will slow down and repeat myself. I forgot what it was. *Blush* I know I sowed it in very early spring, before the last frost, but it did not germinate until May, blooming fairly quickly after that and off and on until September.

I think it is relatively uncommon. It was delicate and rarely had more than 3-4 blossoms on any given branch at a particular time, but they were charming.

I almost forgot about it as it declined, but just rescued a few dust like seeds that I will share with the first person to remind me of what it is, if that is the prize you choose *Blush*

I'll leave this one open indefinitely, even if I remember as soon as I post. I would hazard a guess as to genus, but I think I'll leave it to the photos.

Oh I'd love to have a few pieces of 'dust'! My M. ringens died out; it was just too dry where I planted it.
Thank you Alana.

Missed that game but how about another? I think Alana said we could host a game.

Here's the game ~
Unscramble the botanical name: rediclupisa sacdnanise

First person to unscramble wins about 25 seeds of the plant.
Plus a bonus gift ~ this lovely handmade (by me) wine glass charm. Green Grin!
