Thread OP

I would enjoy taking my potted clematis into basement (dormant) for the winter? Is this doable or are their other ways to extend
the life? crazymortimer45#yahoo,com

Hi Crazymorti, Welcome! to NGA

I don't see a problem with bringing your clematis in for the winter. But do you need to?

If you could update your info to include your location, we could give you a much better answer.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
