I like not having to scroll many pages to get to the top of the old, left-side-blue menu.

The "top menu bar" is always there.

I might put the home page for SPECIFIC seed swaps into my custom menu, to save a click or two.

The "top right blue icon" (that looks like two links of chain) takes me to my old "customizable menu".

And the tool to edit those links is still in our Profile:
- ("top right head-and-shoulders icon"
- - - Settings
- - - - - - - - Custom Menubar Manage your custom menubar

Now I see that @Mayo added a great post with screenshots:
how to update your custom menu, and
how to access your custom menu to use it.

I "updated" to Windows 10 a few weeks ago and did not find out how to go back to Windows 7 until it was too late to do so. I was about to blame the changes here on Windows 10!
On top of that yesterday's update to my iphone has made a lot of changes there too.
Just too much all at once for this old lady!

Jim, it's likely because some haven't seen it or signed up yet.

When I get on my computer in a little while, I'll write to Daniel and make sure he's in the correct spot.

Is anyone else having difficulty accessing seed descriptions in the swap list? For items that say, for example, 24 words I can get the link to do anything. I tried on my phone & desktop yesterday. Is it just me?

I informed Dave and he said he fixed it but it still doesn't work for me.

I have to leave the cursor on the little question mark a few seconds before the words appear. For a while I thought it did not work too.

Thanks for checking! It still doesn't work on my phone but now if you linger over the words a bubble appears. That didn't happen before so I think Dave is still working on it. Smiling

So I found this guy at the grocery store for $3.99

Thumb of 2016-10-04/Littlecheryl/85f1ac

So now the question is how do you take care of an orchid? Any pointers? Thanks!!

Sorry I haven't been on much, I had a craft show on Saturday and now I'm doing special orders that needs to go out this week!

Here's one orchid-care article by Ken / drdawg, about how to take care of an orchid you just brought home.

Just don't expect it to stay blue unless you add food coloring to the water. It will still be gorgeous, but pure white.

Interesting Elena. I did not know that about orchids. But, I also don't think I have the ability to grow orchids either.

For some reason the little orchids and I don't get along well. I'm on my third or fourth one... Just got it a couple of weeks ago, and its leaves are shriveling and turning yellow on part of it, although I'm pretty sure it has enough water.

I have a big one that I got months ago and it looks really healthy, so I'm fairly convinced it is a small orchid thing somehow.

Anyway, I've always been instructed to water them using an ice cube (or multiple ice cubes if it's bigger). They like a good amount of indirect light in the house...my sister's orchids thrived in a kitchen window.

Good luck!
