Hi gypsy, Welcome!
I have a couple of Desert Rose (Adenium obesum) plants and although I've never tried taking cuttings to root for new plants I know that many folks have had great success doing it. You should pop into our Desert Rose Forum and say hi: http://garden.org/forums/view/... We have some very knowledgeable members who grow those beauties and I know they'd be able to offer great advice and tips.

Welcome to NGA @gypsy
Yes, propogating a clone from a cutting is done quite often. There are things that need to be considered before doing so: when, where, how, and what. Showing a picture of the adenium tree and telling where it is growing are very important in order to get better informed advice.
