Tina, you *might* have yours by Saturday... Texas is a little tricky...I think that usually takes a day longer than most other states when shopping from Michigan. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, though. Crossing Fingers!

Tina, I'm a guilty party here.

When DND opened my mailer, she found that I must have lost YOUR bundle somewhere between putting each person's seeds into a baggie, and sealing the flap at the post office.

I've checked at work since I heard, and will check at home and in my car tonight, but the outcome is that DND diodn't get them, so she can't mail them to you.

If you send me your address by Tree-Mail, I'll send everything but the seed tape directly to you (I only had the one sample of lettuce mix seed tape. But I can substitute other kinds of lettuce.)

At least this way, you will also get the "Fuzzy Bean Vine" seeds = Strophostylles helvola!

Or, if you're going to be in either of the two upcoming seed swaps, I can put your seeds into your packet for that swap.

I'm very sorry for the delay!

I remember putting the seed tape into one pot for you, and remember NOT having the Fuzzy Beans at home for you when I was dealing out packets. I KNOW I had it then!

Then I packed things into an envelope, checking off each person's packets as I put them into that envelope! There was some back-and-forth at that step, maybe it fell behind the table??

Or it might have fallen out in the Post Office, or in my car.

Anyway, I think i have duplicates for everything but the seed tape.

Salad Mix seed tape - 10 feet of seed tape (In a commercial, hang-on-a-hook packet)
Trailing Wild Bean (Strophostyles helvola) ~25 seeds ("Fuzzy Bean Vine")
Wax Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris 'Pencil Pod Black Wax') ? full commerical pkt
Yardlong Bean (Vigna unguiculata 'Qing-Long') 1 tsp ~ 30 beans

P.S. If Tainong Seeds ever calls me back, I'm ordering two kinds of yard-long beans, fresh.
The first one is the same variety I offered in the swap, but those were from a 2012 packet.

yard-long bean Dark Green Qing-Long
yard-long bean White Skin Bai-Long

Aw, Rick is taking the blame but it isn't his fault and, really, nothing is 'held up', per se. Although I would have liked to have gotten the seeds out sooner, they are still on time and it wasn't his fault at all. At best, the seeds *might* have gone out this evening instead of tomorrow morning, but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't make a difference on arrival time anyway.

We could blame my cat.

That's what I usually do when I lose something.

No worries Rick! I'll be in on the next swap so you can send then. I think I'll have enough seeds to keep me busy in the interim. Hurray!

Hurray! Glad they came! I love that you have them filed in notebooks, you sound incredibly organized with your seeds. I have mine in separate bags for 'planted' and 'not planted' yet (or, at the beginning of the season, it was bags for 'plant indoors 6-8 wks early', 'plant 4 weeks early', and 'plant outside'). It worked well for my purposes this year and probably will for next season, too; but, if we do get the plot of land I'm hoping for, I'll be changing up my organization strategy and I have to remind myself of your notebook idea...I think a notebook or even a picture album might come in handy along with the organizer I have in mind to purchase when that time comes...

Received mine I believe Saturday!! Thank you Libby for hosting this swap. And thank you to everyone who sent in seeds!!!! I also got my garlic orders in so can't wait for that. I've been trying to buy up potting soil, soilless mix, etc. for when I do start winter sowing & building beds but its getting harder to find garden stuff as stores are putting out holiday stuff. (I am totally against seeing Christmas stuff before Halloween''' Uggg).

I'm with you, I feel as though Christmas items shouldn't start until November does, at the earliest. I love Christmastime, but the earlier it's put out in the stores, the more I feel it detracts from the fall holidays. I don't see why people need Christmas decorations so early, honestly.

I'm glad you received your seeds Saturday! I'm pretty sure your seeds were originally scheduled for a Monday delivery, so I'm really glad they arrived early! Hurray!
