Thread OP

I'm always on the look out for unusual house plants and came across one today that I have never seen before. I have now added it to my ever-growing collection but haven't a clue what it is. It was sold as an indoor plant.

Any help with ID would be great.

Thank,

Jason

Kleinia stapeliiformis - a very cool plant.

Thanks Daisyl for your informed response. Now I will have to look up how to care for it. Do you know if it is considered a rare or common houseplant?

Thanks,

Jason

I don't think its rare but always fun to find. The care is like any other succulent. I have a Kleinia (but not that one) and it seems to sunburn easily but I do have it in a greenhouse. If you are keeping it inside your house, I would give it as much sun as possible. Transition to sun slowly - you don't want to fry it.
