Hello. My roomate bought this plant and I have no clue what it is. The flowering parts were red and now they're turning a more magenta color. Pardon the picture quality, I don't really have a great phone.

I agree, it reminds me of Celosia argentea; we have many listed in the database with photos for comparison: http://garden.org/plants/search/text/?q=Celosia+argentea
