I noticed that many of the photos don't have 'date' information as to when the photo was taken. Confused

Does the system not capture that information for all participants or is this a result of moving stuff from
cubits to here?

I am finding it's the result of the move from Cubits, some of the photos never had that information to begin with. : (

I have been deleating the picture date that shows up when I have been putting in my pictures because the camera date is not accurate. It is way off, like months off. Then I don't know what the real date should be so I usually leave it blank.

All images moved over from Cubits did not have that information in the first place, so it's missing. And as Rita indicated, this is an optional field so it can be left blank.

The submitter can come back and add the info in later, if they wish.

Ideally we'd have this information for every plant, but that's not going to be feasible. I do hope that eventually the majority of images have it.

I understand. I was wondering why some did and others didn't and figured it had to do with moving photos from the other site.

Didn't consider that some cameras did not have their dates right and folks were deleting the date field. *Blush*
