can anyone help me with some tricks to bring this beauty back to life? it was hanging indoors close to a large picture window with lots of light. It's relatively new to me, I got it over the colder months last year and it was so happy! it was growing and hanging beautifully, but I think the super hot temperatures we got over the summer gave it too much of a shock. I can see in the base of the plant close to the pot it is sprouting some new fronds. would love some tips on cleaning it up to make it happy again and bring it back to its former glory!

EDIT: I only have north and south facing windows in my apartment and it is now by the sunniest north facing window!

I think it might be an issue of root damage by overwatering, does its pot has a drainage hole?

Welcome! Since it is re-sprouting it probably will be fine. North window good, don't over water, and snip dead stipes (stems) with scissors to improve look.

the pot does not have a drainage hole, however it does have about an inch and a half of pebbles/rocks at the bottom. I'll try to be very careful to not over-water. thanks for the ideas!

Oooh! Use a pot with drainage hole!!! By the way, if you add some info to your profile others will have some idea of what your climate and such are and it will help integrate you into the community.
