Did I miss something? Is there a reason we can no longer move from photo to photo in the zoom mode without re-clicking each one? I used to love to browse the photos in a thread that way going from one to another with a single click. There was an arrow and then number of the picture at the bottom which allowed me to know where I was in the pictures within the tread as well. I could just go back one or two with a click on the arrow. I loved it and miss it.

I am on a Dell laptop using FireFox and Windows 7.

Small thing but this is one item I am missing from the old NGA displays.

Dave, as you know I am not a big complainer, but I really really dislike the new photo format, and I do not like the wide white border, I find it is very distracting. Please please can we have the photos like they were before as soon as you can get to it? Crossing Fingers!

Otherwise I am happy with the change because you made it so easy for us that are not too computer savvy to set up our homepage, so thank you for that, good job. Thumbs up Thumbs up

I updated the popup photos feature this morning. You should now be able to cycle through the photos like it was before.

I think I've across something quirky. On post #1289441 in the Cactus and Tender Succulents forum there are a series of <beautiful photos> posted, but on the first photo it won't let you cycle to the next photo. It has to be closed. Beginning with the second photo, the remaining photos cycle one the next. Just FYI.

That's because the first photo is copied from the Plant Database. They only click through to images that are directly uploaded to the thread. Once you open that second one, you'll notice it will pass by those database shots.

Thank you. I knew that, but didn't notice it this time *Blush* . This morning most of them are in the Database nodding , so clicking through doesn't work for that post. I'll try to pay closer attention in the future.

Yes, it's always been that way that the database photos are not using the same popup system as the straight upload photos in the forums, and that's not likely to ever change.

But the benefits of posting the DB photos are tremendous, so I don't want anyone to feel discouraged from using that system to include photos in threads.
