Hi Josh- Wow you have nice plants.
I live near Seattle, same longitude as you so also long gloomy low-light winters.
But for my houseplants I have a huge east facing floor to ceiling window with a skylight overhead, so although the succulents are not real happy about winter, they mostly survive. How do you do it? Yours look fabulous.
I gave up on Escheverias and other Mealybug magnets. I do use both systemic insecticide occasionally, and sometimes spray with Azamax, as a "least toxic" alternative.

So I have become quite obsessed with making little bonsai trees out of jade plants and I can't get enough of it. Any one with suggestions!?

Pistil. Thank you very much!! I use full spectrum grow lights to aid the growing. I have a room in my basement with over 150 cacti and succulents and multiple grow lights and they just absolutely thrive in there. I keep the humidity at 25% with a dehumidifier and at a constant 78 degrees and since then I have seen extreme improvement on the health and new growth of the majority of them!!!

Aaaaah, now it makes sense! I am going to try something similar, I got some nice grow light fixtures this last spring, and I will try rotating my plants from the window there in the long gloomy winter. How long do you let them stay on the windowsill?

Since I have last been on here I put two very large windows on the south side of my house in the living room and expanded largely. I have now started selling bonsai jades and other cacti and succulents here are a few of my plants. Not selling here just only pic I have of them but now that I have the big windows I keep some of them on a stand infront and they seem to be liking it quite well. Havnt got squirrley

Nice Mini Bonzai Josh ..:-)

Here in TBay it helps to have a selection of indoor plants as we trudge out to shovel snow, which I am headed out to do now ..

Jades are wonderful, and, yours are just awesome ..

I tend to think we might be the only 2 members from TBay.
I will check out your FBook page.
