Thread OP

Hi! I'm new to your forum- looked around a bit and I have specific questions about cuttings as they grow.
I started some 2 months ago (late July)- 21 have made it and are growing explosively. Pots are 4"Wx5"H, cuttings are about 1' tall now (including pot), canopy spread is about 18" and is very uniform in height. Many of the cuttings already had branches and there are a lot of little bits of growth at many of the nodes. They are in Promix BX with some hydroponic fertilizer as a nudge (they obviously like the nudge a LOT.)
I'm about to repot into 1 gallon pots, but my question is this.
I'm concerned about the canopy and conformation. I'm wondering about pinching a tiny bit off the tops or removing a FEW of the leaves. What would this do to the plants? I'd be after encouraging bushier (ie more branches)- as opposed to the present dominance of a central stalk and I'm thinking PERHAPS removal of a leaf or 2 from the canopy would also let more light in for the lower portions of the plant.
I have no previous experience with cuttings management (obviously). I had cut back the mom tree and couldn't bear to waste the pieces, having lost other trees previously to poor management. I don't want to hurt my babies...
I would greatly appreciate any advice you might have. Thanks in advance- lw
