I'm excited about getting seeds of Winter Rainbow in a week or so. It must be fertile both ways because there is one child plant in the data base with Winter Rainbow as the pollen parent and the seeds I'm getting Winter Rainbow is the pod parent. You can sure see the Precious Candy genes in Winter Rainbow, it's going to be interesting to see what it's offspring will look like.

I received 2 fans of this cultivar in September 2015 and transplanted them into a new raised bed shortly afterwards. It is listed as an evergreen so I expected it to do well here. Unfortunately, that has not been the case.

I believe it is now just 1 single small fan. I thought I had lost it earlier this year, but it struggled to come back. It has yet to bloom for me. I hope it surprises me and makes a good comeback next year (2017). I bought it because I loved the photos of the blooms. I would sure love to see it bloom. Thumbs up
