Hi. The banner no longer appears on my home page. If I go into the banner forum and click on the post with today's banner, then it will briefly appear while I am on that page. As soon as I click out of there, though, the banner disappears and reverts to some kind of NGA logo. I miss being able to see the beautiful banners that members have created!

I am wondering if there is something I have done to cause this to happen? Or if this is some kind of bug? I use Chrome as my browser and have the latest version of Windows.

It doesn't show up on every page unless you tell it to in your preferences.

I did't see a Banner box on the customize Page. How would I get the banner back?

hi, Julia. Look under 'profile' instead of 'settings'. There is a link in there for 'manage site preferences'.

I have my preferences set to show the banner only in the forums but it actually only shows in threads, not on forum pages or the forum list.

I had always had that setting as far as I remember, but I just checked again, it still says only in forums. I did the save anyway, reloaded the pages and nothing has changed. I only see the banner in threads, not for the forum list or each forum.

Thanks, Dave, so it has to be yes to site-wide to show banners on the forums list and forums as well as threads. I had assumed "show only in the forums" would include the forums list and forums like it did before the change, rather than just each individual thread as it is now.
