Our new (5 mo. old) puppy is eating the berries that drop to the ground. Will these harm him?

Welcome!

Obviously not or puppy would be sick or dead.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost

Birds and wildlife eat them but still, the puppy tummy may not handle them well and so, to be on the safe side, it should be discouraged. Maybe remove what's in reach.
