Hi, I was gifted with this beauty and would love to know the name of it. The person that gave it to me is ill, so I thought some of you might be able to ID it.
Thanks

Check for Mesmerizer. I used to have it, but lost it years ago, I remember it having spoons, but I'm thinking it was more orange bearded maybe.

I should have asked, is it blooming now? Mesmerizer isn't a rebloomer

Do a search for white selfs with spoons in the database?
Of course I talk to myself; sometimes I need expert advice!

Mesmerizer has been reported to re-bloom in zones 5 and above. Reliable in some zones. This makes sense as "Skyhooks" is in it's parentage.

Possibly Wings of Peace? It has yellow in it's beard. But yours has yellow hafts too and I think Wings is all white.

Check out Snow Spoon. I just got this one from Thelma's this year. It has yellow at the hafts.

I think that is a 'flounce' rather than a spoon. check both types of flowers.

Thanks, everyone. Lucy, I have a lot to learn. I don't know a flounce from a spoon

A spoon is a long, slender formation on the end of the beard & has a round (spoon shape) at the end.

I thought Mesmerizer too, at first glance. Here's mine:
Sure looks like Mesmerizer to me!

That looks very, very close to me. I was given a Mesmerize this year so I can have one to compare up close!

No yellow at the hafts on Mesmerizer!
