Every time I go to login to garden.org I get a msg. that basically says y'all don't know who the heck I am. So I select the option to have an email sent to me (better than snail mail) and whammo! I'm in.

I actually suspect that this might be caused my the devil's spawn aka Yahoo, AT&T and Apple who are just funning me. On the other hand, I do what one is never ever supposed to do. I actually write my p/w on a scrap of paper so I will remember it. Thus I know that I am definitely entering the correct information at the login screen, unless, of course I can't read my handwriting. (Has happened.)

Any thoughts on what might be going on? I do kinda blame Apple b/c it usually creates a p/w for me and locks it in what it calls a 'keychain'. However, it's not offering that option with garden.org. Should I call Apple and see if they can explain it (ha ha) before y'all have to investigate?

It sounds like you're entering the wrong password in the login field.

Since you're logged in right now, you can change your password to something you can remember. Do that by clicking on the person icon in the navbar, then click on "Settings" and at the bottom of that page, click on "Change your E-Mail or password".

Now change your password to something you can remember, and be sure to save your changes on that page. Next time you need to login you should be able to do it. Just make sure you enter both your username and password correctly.

I have used the 'change your p/w' trip. Maybe when I hit 'save', I didn't hit it hard enough. I'm still trying to remember that when I hit 'save' or 'done' or whatever, that I need to be sure that the color changes from green to yellow (as colors display for me).
As I'm typing this it occurs to me that I didn't login now. I was flipping thru my email and saw one that said I had a tree-mail. It then gave me a link that I could use to get there straightaway, and I clicked on the link. Aside from taking me to that individual TM, apparently that also logs me in. Correct? So if true, is it possible that some bit gets flipped that affects my ID or p/w? Just a thought.
I'm using my iPhone now and am going to "hang up" aka logoff. Will see what happens later when I fire up my desktop and try to login. Just love a grand experiment.
Thanks for your reply. Will let you know results of said experimentation.

ditto to what Seedfork said... I never log off (unless for some reason I want to see what something looks like to someone who isn't logged on...)

I'm paranoid. I always logoff sites unless I'm distracted and forget. It's not that I'm paranoid of anyone here. Just a long time habit from my days in the workforce.
