Frances Joiner has been in my garden for many years it does very well in it's location near the arbor. I just pulled the spent scapes the other day there was a lot of them from my nice sized clump. I do not have many doubles, but this is one that caught my eye with it's lovely blooms making it a keeper.

Quite short and blooms out rather quickly here, but very well formed and eye catching.

I really like the coloring on Francis Joiner, so delicate. After only one year growing here, it has reached 19", less than the 24" registered, with a bud count of 7 on 2 way branching. I hope that increases with maturity.

I like Frances Joiner think it might have been my first double. love the coloring and grows well. It is a little short but I have it in the front so it isn't blocked and does put on a nice show.

I planted Frances Joiner in Spring 2021. This summer ( 2022) she was still at two fans but produced 13 blooms from July 12-28. Very pretty flower, the shortness is fine as she is right next to a path. Unfortunately, FJ had a moderate case of rust by Fall. Might be why the fans haven't changed.

2023 update… FJ had a pretty good season, blooming from July 18 to August 3 with at least 18 blooms. More excitingly, she grew a lot, putting on three new fans to end the season with 5 fans.
