Help to identify? in the Plant ID forum

Just moved into new home. We've this planted in what looks to be an intentional landscape feature. Not really fond of it, but would love to know what it is and maybe how to care for it since we'll be having winter in Nebraska soonish.

Looks a lot like a hardy hibiscus , the type with red leaves.

Hi Debwagner37,

I agree, those leaves look a lot like those of Hardy Hibiscus but for a more exact ID, we'd need to have a description or photo of the bloom.

One for comparison: Hybrid Hardy Hibiscus (Hibiscus 'Kopper King')
