Thread OP

Discovered a site called " my daylilies dot com" and have tried to access it but all I get is a box that asks you to log on . I dont see any info on how to register for the use of the site. Is anyone here familiar with this site and if you are can you tell me how to register please?

Mydaylilies is on Facebook which I belong to. There is a message on there about too much spam on the site so it has been frozen. I will copy and paste the message.

I have froze mydaylilies.com account due to the increased spam that is being put on the forum and am tired of the spam emails that are being sent out from the site. I will have the site available for those interested in retrieving any pictures or posts.
Mydaylilies.com will be transformed into something new... so stay tuned for that.

Hi Dorothy, thanks so much for the info. Unfortunately I dont do facebook so wont be able to participate . I refuse to financially line the pockets of Mark Zuckerberg so wont become a member . It is unfortunate that people cant leave good websites alone ......I dont see what they get from destroying a website. Ah well I will continue my hunt for good websites to learn from

Thanks again for responding

There is no fee ever for joining Facebook. You can even sell daylilies and things on there for free. I sold seeds there this year. There are MANY daylily groups on Facebook.

Yes I know what you are saying Dorothy. I am not referring to fees charged , I am referring to the fact that posts are monitored on facebook ( nothing is private ) and advertising is geared towards people's interest . I dont appreciate either being monitored or having adverts foisted on me . Won't do facebook . I saw a documentary about M. Zuckerberg .....and had to laugh .....they called him the Sultan of Facebookistan.
