Hi, I found this little guy at a department store with some succulents and cactus and had to bring him home. I haven't been able to ID him. I'd like to know more about him. I am a beginner in succulents. Thank you.

This may be the paper spine cactus:
Paper Spine Cactus (Tephrocactus articulatus var. papyracanthus)

I have it, but mine isn't as green as yours but that may be due to the way it has been grown. Mine is outside in Arizona all year.

That's an interesting one, Lin, and it's also called paper spine! I've never seen one in person with leaves like that!
