My mom had a chenille plant that died and I think I sprouted it right but I don't know if these are sprouts or weeds can someone please help

That seedling looks like a monocot. Chenile plants are dicots. Did it ever have a pair of little leaves?

Growing Chenile plants from seed might be disappointing because they are dioecious (there are male and female plants.)

No it didn't it has always lookeded just like the picture what do you think I have in my pot?

Not Chenile.

A single blade of grass?

I would keep it just to see what it turns into.

Any thoughts out there?

Looks like a grain... Bird feeder?

I would expect chenille seedlings to resemble other acalypha seedlings... For instance... These copper leaf acalypha.

There is a small chance it could be bird seed come to think of it Sighing!
