Hello,

My plumeria (Adenium too) collection is outdoor during second part of Spring (May) and Summer. But when October is coming care has to be taken. Indeed, these last days I saw a quite low temperature in early morning 4° Celsius (40 F°) ...

Decision has then been taken to move, in my veranda's for those still blooming, for the others, just group them close to a wall exposed full South, no Wind and much warmer than my yard. They will also come Inside, when almost negative températures (32 F°) will come. Then most of the leaves will have fall down, and this will be much more easier to pack .. lol.

Place to the pics. Tank you for reading, have a nice day.

Still blooming ...

I agree @mbndupuy beautiful collection!

That's a good sized seedpods on the first picture. The obtusa dwarf pink is a Dwarf Pink Singapore. There is quite a lot of buds there.

Thanks for your comments, yes winter is a desaster for our plums ...

That's only half a working day to remove, to clean, and be safe in my vérandas, but that's a pity with also these blooms .. and also pods, coming in quite a great number, after my pollinisation tests ... Now half still in blooms are in a warm place, the other , close to a south wall, and protected, until mid of november. Then leaves would have fall down, it will be easier to pack every body, in my veranda for the winter from mi dec, up to mid of april.

Have a nice day. Michel

Hello all,

That's quite a long time that I didn’t post anything ... winter, winter, nothing to do, nothing to share?

WOW, it's not true.. But to be honest .. a bit sleepy I agree Hilarious!

... In my area, even in south of France, this winter has been a bit cold, during about 15 days .. the prove ? ... Ice thickness on my sweeping pool, was about 2 inches ... Rolling on the floor laughing https://www.facebook.com/10000...
...

Coming back to ours plants ... I've Adenium, Frangipanis, Tiare, Pachypodium, .. and others .. All coming from quite warm areas and to be preserved during the winter ... That’s what I want to show you in this video ... and how I proceed ... (an electrical heater inside the most crowded .. cost about 80 $ this year). In the large one, no heater ... the temperature fall down to 32 F ... but as far as observed, no problems 5it's true, that 32 F, was observed only a few hours ... very fast with the sun, temperature is rising)

All the best to you. Spring is coming!!! Crossing Fingers!

Michel
