I think they do have personalities, Laurie. They are very cute to interact with. Of course that probably is anthropomorphism!

That's a shame you don't have them, Sue. Just for fun I checked and there is a company that sells them for pets! You could probably have an indoor friend! I think they aren't selling right now. Probably only in Spring.

My egg cases usually don't open until June 8 to the 10 each year. The small babies are white and tend to eat each other. Yet every year I always find another egg case when I'm cleaning up in the fall.
