Got this as a gift plant in 2014 from Maryott's
Very pretty blooms
Only 2 blooms last year, about 6 this year.
Still blooming short for me ...about 22", maybe it will be taller next year?

I got this one as a bonus last year. It bloomed well in late summer after receiving it. It had good increase and tall, broad, attractive foliage. But only one of five fans bloomed this year, and that scape was short. But I had that problem with most of my daylilies this past season. It had 11-12 buds on that scape and seemed to be very pod fertile. It set every cross I tried, and those crosses were made when temps were in the mid-90s. I ended up harvesting two pods. But I had several others that dried up during the hottest part of the summer. Looking forward to seeing what it does next season.

I also received mine as a gift plant from Maryott in 2014. The blooms open nicely & always look good. Started out with 2 fans & have 5 now, although only 4 bloomed this year. Average number of blooms per scape, nothing spectacular but some years I'm happy with average. I did get several pods from it, hopefully I will get some nice seedlings.

I received Billy the Kid in the fall of 2015. It was the first daylily to bloom in my southern facing 5B garden. First bloom was 6/17.

Beautiful flowers and nice plant habit. I agree that the scapes are shorter than reported. Mine were 19-22 inches.
