That's a lovely Aloe! I also have that Manfreda but it was in shade and has lost all its speckles. I have just put it back in full sun so hopefully it will remedy itself.

'Macho Mocha' is another one I'm a zone pusher with here. But it has done fine. Sometimes I think I worry too much. However, as sure as I forget to check on one, wham, bad weather hits and it's damaged. I just hate that. Crying

I will keep you in mind Hetty Smiling

Okay here are some more photos:

I know the taller darker ones are also aeonium, not sure if the bigger one is also called an aeonium. That bigger one was given to me 3 years ago, physically uprooted by my friend in her garden coz it is growing so fast and huge.

We cross posted tarev. How do you overwinter all those succulents? They are all beauties for sure.
How long did it take for your Sedum morgianum to get that big. And how do you keep it from breaking?

I just leave my succulents outdoors all year long. My area has mild winters, so no snow. However, I do notice our weather pattern is changing a lot..so far, keeping fingers crossed every winter, that these lovely succulents will fight on and come back as soon as spring and drier season comes about. I almost lost the Austropuntia cylindrica cristata last time, but I think it is now much acclimated. I almost killed a Sanseveira too, but have finally been able to re-pot, and is coming back slowly. There was much rains last winter. I really have to make sure the soil drains very well, otherwise these succulents will go soggy.

I got the Sedum morgianum from my aunt in 2008, so 4 years? It is hard to keep them from breaking!!! String of beads holds better than this burritos...before I felt so apprehensive when burritos fall off, but it just comes back pretty easy, each fallen burrito is a new plant in the making Big Grin

Could be Gasteria batesiana.

The plant with the "fangs" is a Faucaria, maybe F. tuberculosa but I can't tell.

Echeveria could be 'Blue Curls' or perhaps 'Curly Locks'.

Often we are used to seeing succulent leaves, this time the succulent stems:

This is my Beucarnea recurvata - commonly called as ponytail palm, elephant foot palm, bottle tree palm. But is not a palm, more closely related to a Yucca.

I grow this one indoors near a south facing window, very low maintenance. I know I can take it outside during summer, but I decided to just keep it indoors, it is thriving happily anyways.

My next favorite is the Desert Rose or Adenium Obesum. This one I got 2 years ago from a local walmart store, a noid desert rose. Have been trying to read a lot about its culture, so far I really have to keep this indoors during winter together with my plumeria, both being deciduous during winter, but makes a good comeback as soon as weather becomes warmer. Very lovely blooms.

I am still on a steep learning curve growing a plumeria. So far I have killed one oops! Now left with one, but I do hope I can also learn to grow it properly like my desert rose and ponytail palm Smiling
This is my one and only struggling plumeria:

Tarev, that plumeria likes a bit more water than your succulents; that plant looks dehydrated IMO.

Hi Hetty, yeah, it does look dehydrated eh? I am just so confused with this one..the leaves did not open up a lot, and it still tries to flower too..just waiting for this one to go dormant. As it is we are starting to have cooler nights low 50's..but still goes up to low 70's during daytime....so I only water it 2 a week.

I'm wondering if it has roots at all... it's what they look like when they are rooting. I would uproot it if it were me.

Our winter temp hovers between 40 and 50 but there are some occasions too when it will go down to 38, but just for a night or two. It is when it starts to rain that it is more bothersome, cold and wet not good for the succulents, so drainage has to be really good. I have no space to bring in all my little ones, heheh, the containers are heavy :-)

Hmm..as for the plumeria, Hetty, am too chicken to uproot it right now, just because there is still one flower trying to come out and bloom, all the other buds went blast, but there is one trying to come out. Maybe after this little one goes downhill as well, I will uproot it and just force it into dormancy indoors to save it.

I have this succulent which I know belongs to Senecio but not sure which type. Recently it is showing a nice flower:

The entire plant:

Anyone knows which Senecio this is? Not sure if it is Senecio articulatus.
