I came into my office this morning, and my Episcia was in bloom. Two beautiful orange bloom! Just in time for Halloween...was my first thought.

I wish I had my better camera. I used my cell phone camera to take this picture. Maybe I'll bring the other camera in tomorrow. The cell phone doesn't pull out the vibrant true orange color of the bloom, against all the other colors, and to be honest it looks a little blurry on ATP, even though it looks clear and fine on Facebook. It could be because I used MS Paint to resize it, because that is all I have here at work. Adobe Photoshop is so much better about resizing.

Yes, it does look more purple-pink than orange. But very nice. It's always great to find surprise blooms like that. It's like a present to ourselves. Thumbs up :

Alan: Nice looking plant, great growing! Episcia's have such gorgeous foliage but it's always nice to see a bloom too, and that is very pretty.
