We have two Asian perssimon trees that supposed to yield delicious fruits. We had these trees over 6 years. We had one fruit first year, 3 fruits after two years and 8 delicious fruits last year. This year there is no fruit. In the Spring there were many many green fruits on the branches of both trees, but they all dropped on the ground over the period of time and
none left on the trees. So we do not have no fruit this year on both trees. Please advise. Angie

Well !!! Lets see πŸ˜‡
If not climate.zone.or unusual weather ! Persimmons do a 2 year cycle. 1 yr heavy. 1 yr lighter.
BUTT . Not NONE !!! 😫
So if none of the three above apply.
I would say fertilizer !!!
Or pollination.
Were coasts away. So i dont know if there a bug there that would do it.
Hear in California there's no bugs that
bothers them.
So id get some fertilizer on them rite now. Forget the instructions. It will help them overwinter.
Also : I hope you are watering them during winter !!!!! They are tropical !
They need water year round. Every couple weeks. It would take alot of rain to deep water them !
Insufficient water could be there whole problem !!!
Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong.

Fruit drop can be caused by too much water, or temps wrong at the wrong time of fruit set, are they in ground? Or in pots? Where in NC are you? Pisgah? Beaches, inland? NC soils are high in silicates, not very rich soils unless sheltered by small hills, this was a coolish summer unless you were in the West...
So many roads to take, choices to make, and laughs to share!
