My neighbor gave me a handful of starts from her plant about a year ago. It's done great growing all summer outside, and it is just now starting to flower. I took it in the g'house a couple of weeks ago, but it had started flowering before that.

Nice green house too! That particular lipstick is very easy to propagate. It grows as a ground cover in my garden from pieces that fell from a hanging basket years ago.

Hmmm...........might have to wait till Monday.......we're leaving this morning for "probably" our last RV outing of the season. Supposed to be in the 50's. I have to be back Sunday afternoon for our church Charge Conference meeting, so we'll leave the park noon-ish or so. Just hate the thought of putting "ERV" to bed till late April. We'll be going to Kansas City the first week in May so the SU can go to the NASCAR race there. That's a LOOOOONG time to wait............... Rolling on the floor laughing

Anna, I was reading that lipstick plants should never go below 65 degrees F. Is your greenhouse that warm? Mine is only heated to 60 right now and our electric bills are bad enough that I don't want them any higher. Wish we could use propane, but all the units we've bought won't work well at high altitude. They shut off all the time. Sad
