Before the site upgrade, I used to be able to open multiple tabs by right clicking different icons on the page and select to open in a new tab. An example would be to right click on my personal profile in the header and select my public profile to drop down to the images I have contributed to get the bar code to include a specific photo in a post or t-mail.

Currently, when I right click my personal profile icon, I get the Site Talk Forum on the new tab and have to work my way through to where I want to go on the new tab before I can just copy and paste. The same is true if I right click the HOME icon or if I right click at select to open on a new page.

I find this to be quite cumbersome compared to how the system worked in the past.

It is possible this issue has come up in the multiple pages about the site change thread, but I have not had time to read all of the posts, so I have isolated the question in this post. If it has been asked and answered, please just give me a post to read, so I don't have to go through the many posts about the site change.

This was brought up in the thread September 2016 website redesign is complete!, starting with post #238.

It's doesn't required anymore clicking than you did before. It's just a bit different than what you are used to. Instead of right clicking an icon for a new tab and then clicking what you want, you left click an icon to a pop up box or drop down menu and then click (right or left) to what you want. So you just need to relearn your habit.

The only thing cumbersome would be if you wanted to have all those action icons in multiple tabs open at the same time. For the two icons that produce a pop up box (not a drop down menu), that would require one extra click each.

When I right click on the home icon and select to open in new tab or page, the home page does open in a new tab or page. I use Firefox 49.
