Veronica carnosula in Comment concerning Neckweed (Veronica peregrina)

V. carnosula was reclassified as a synonym for V. peregrina subsp. peregrina. These taxonomic decisions are based on DNA rather than on external appearance.

it is still not Veronica. peregrina subsp. peregrina. I have been looking around too, and found this

I seems it is called V baylyi now. hope this helps to sort it out.

I can move your photos to V. baylyi if you wish. As of 28 September 2016, V. laevis var. carnosula is its only synonym.
