Love this tip and the pretty picture! You can place small ornaments at the base of houseplants too. One of my sisters hangs ornaments from trees in her backyard at Christmas. I was visiting her one Thanksgiving a few years ago and helped her decorate for the holidays. We took skinny red curling ribbon and hung all sizes of ornaments (some huge ones meant for outside use) in all of her backyard trees. It was really pretty!

Along with finding *SCORE* values and good pickings on Christmas and Holiday ornaments there is a value elsewhere. Lots of "big box" (Wally World, Target, Lowes, Ace) need to move their merchandize starting in September in order to make room for Holiday decorations (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, etc.)

I scored big time on 2 cast metal patio sets. Priced at a total of $2,800 for a dining table for four, chairs, 2 plush side chairs, loveseat and good sized coffee table, I paid $700... in the boxes. Wally World.

I agree particularly with furniture.

I couldn't believe how I lucked out. Best ever.

May we all be so lucky!
