Only lasted about 15 minutes but it was a major downpour. Amazing Alan. Storms come from all directions and STILL leave your area dry. "Whazupwiddat?" "Whazupwiddat?" "Whazupwiddat?"

I feel bad for your area, Alan...it's no fun to see the storm and not get rain. I live near Susie so it was the same here. Loved it but not long enough.

I just saw the report on Channel 15 and it looks like Chandler is getting ready to be hammered with rain. I hope so...it's Alan's turn!

I must have slept through the rain, but a very nice rain here too. About 8 inches or so of water filling he park across the street this morning. Normally I would say lake front property, but not that much rain. How bout pond front property :)

Ok, so who is our Professional weather log reader here. I don't understand how to read this log file on how much rain we got last night. I'm certain we didn't get .66 inches of rain every time segment. Wouldn't that be over a 1/2 inch? Who can help me translate the data I'm reading from the weather log for my area? Inquiring minds want tot grow :)

Alan, re the chart. I'd say the spreadsheet had some lingering background formulas that the data entry person wasn't aware of. I had several flower pot dishes outside that had at least an inch water each. Not accurate for sure but an indicator. I think it rained for 2 hrs at 85023.

You use Wunderground.com, right? Do you use a weather station near you?

It only rained about an hour here. I'm guessing by reading that chart that we got .66 inches of rain. There is plenty of water in the park today... My birdbath was filled back up, but it is not a good indicator because it is more bowl shaped. However it was almost empty last night when I went to bed. I meant to clean it and refill it. I guess Ma nature took care of that for me. I didn't copy all the data over. All that I didn't read 0.00.
