the first pic is flower...the second entire plant, but not a very good shot. Had trouble avoiding the prickly pear cactus in that area...big ouch Crying

Thanks from me too Jay. I had put that on my mental list to photograph & ID. Funny, I've grown up with that all my life yet never knew what it was called. I know what it feels like, smells like, looks like in all seasons but never knew the name.

Jay, can you get a handle on this one at all? You're so good at ID-ing our Fl. plants.

So far I think that's the only one of those on our property. I've been systematically going along the property tree by tree to ID everything. That one is about 15' tall in my guesstimation. Thanks though. I'm going to keep taking photos of the changes that take place with it. I haven't met any people here yet who know these things. It's like they've never noticed trees or plants & desired to know what they are. Other then the usual stuff like roses. Confused
