Thread OP
Sierra Vista Az
We live in Sierra Vista Az at 4400 ft. We planted 2 firebush plants in May and they recently froze and appear dead. What should we do?

Thanks!

Hm, Roger that's a shame, but the roots may still be alive and sprout up in spring again.

About all you can do right now is mulch thickly over the whole plant with leaves, wood chips or some other good insulator that will help it to stay moist, make sure the plants don't dry out completely during the winter (water lightly at least once a week) and wait and see if they recover in spring.
