I've not had any bulbs for a few years. Strictly indoor bulbs here & I have so little room in my tiny bungalow. But I ordered Santiago & Mocca from Royal Colors and they arrived yesterday, so I'm excited about them as I've not had those before.
La Paz is a real beauty, I had that when I lived in Maine. Looking forward to seeing everyone's 2016/17 blooms!

I've bought all my bulbs locally and haven't found Lady Jane. I have had it before and would grab one if I found it again. I plan on adding pictures as my Amaryllis bloom......I'm going to a nursery later today and expect to see bloom.

San Remo opened today, It is lovely but quite different from the one I had a few years ago. Look at the difference.......

Your 2012 bulb isn't San Remo. I've had this happen so many times, getting mislabeled bulbs, it can be very frustrating.

Changes in soil fertility and pH can cause this, but the ruffle of the petals looks different also, so I do think this is not the same one.

Its great to start seeing this season's blooms.

Gold Metal a "Symphony" bulb from Hadeco. Color is unique: coral, salmon-pink, orange depending on the light. Two scapes are finished, third is coming into bloom.

Olaf, a medium sized red flowered (orange undertone) bulb from Amaryllis Bulb Company. Two scapes finished, third scape about to come into bloom. As is common with so many dark red blooms, I have to be extra careful not to bump or jar the blooms to keep the pollen from shedding on and staining the petals. This is a nice one for Christmas.

First signs of the flower bud on my Mocca just peeping through, so exciting! Still a few weeks from any blooms but will post some photos then. I'm interested to follow everyone's progress this winter.

Daphne from Royal Colors. What's not to like. Huge, showy blooms with a luscious velvet texture that curl back as they age.. Center Red, to dark raspberry to white at the tips, with a red picotee edge. A minor disappointment, only 2 blooms on the first scape. Hope the second scape does better.

Swan Lake from Royal Colors. A small flowered pretty white bloom with a green throat and red eye, ruffled edges. Trumpet shape. Very delicate. Would look lovely in a cut flower bouquet.

Dynasty from Royal Colors This is a large orange red bloom with a white star and a green throat. I've been impressed by its longevity as a cut flower: two weeks so far, and still looks great. 6 buds on the scape is a bonus. Not particularly showy, but looks like a "traditional" Christmas Amaryllis. It received a lot of compliments from my guests.

Amadeus from Royal Colors. Showy white double blooms with pink on the tips. Sparkles in the sunlight. Last year this was sold as Candy Amadeus. This year it is being sold as Amadeus. As more cultivars in the Amadeus series become available, I believe that they will become as popular as the older Nymph and Peacock series.

Marilyn from Royal Colors. White double, with a strong green undertone. Lovely as it first opens, reminds me of a gardenia or water lily. As it ages and the center opens up, the bloom looks entirely different. As in so many of the doubles, the center takes on a "messy" appearance as the reproductive parts appear.

My first bloom of the year, and from my new batch of bulbs opened yesterday. My sister bought two pots at a garden centre, one Lemon Sorbet and one Graffiti, but we've both ended up with Lemon Sorbet.

A small bulb with 2 scapes of small flowers. I'm home with a cold so nice to be able to see it during the day!
