Seedling # 11-BB-01-23

FROSTY SPIRIT (Tasco 2017) BB, 27", EM. A border bearded who name fits its colors nicely. Starts out a very light blue that lightens to a very pale light blue (almost white), as the flower ages. A smaller version of its' pollen parent Glacier Point. Confederate

AM Tasco 2017

Seedling # 12-AM-05-07

CONFEDERATE (Tasco 2017) aril-median (1/4 aril/OGB-), 19", M. We've liked this aril-median since maiden bloom and held out until we had enough stock to be able to introduce it. Named because we thought it looked like Confederate colors with the blue and gray. Very showy and we expect high demand since it has been very popular as a seedling. Parentage is New Vision X 10-SDB-03-32 (Cat's Eye x Replicator). Don't be afraid of the term aril-median, this will grow anywhere you can grow any class of bearded iris, remember it is only 1/4 arilbred genes and 3/4 standard dwarf genes!

Calypso Dancer

AM Tasco 2017

Seedling # 12-AM-04-20

Another aril-median: CALYPSO DANCER (Tasco 2017) aril-median (1/4 aril/OGB-), 22", ML. A very very close parentage to yesterday's Confederate, but NOT a sib. Slight sweet fragrance and the parentage is New Vision X 10-SDB-03-31 (Cat's Eye x Replicator). Don't be afraid of the term aril-median, this will grow anywhere you can grow any class of bearded iris, remember it is only 1/4 arilbred genes and 3/4 standard dwarf genes!

Pre-order email on the 12th, but they haven't decided yet exactly which date they will accept orders. It should be before Jan 1.

As to the order start date, here is the word straight from the source.

"We haven’t decided when we will start accepting “pre-catalog” orders yet, it is normally around January 1, but we started December 15 last year. That info will probably be announced on our Facebook page."

I pretty well have a firm *wish list* already......it's "possible" that something *new* could be an addition, but, more likely, it would be something *old*, that gets added Sticking tongue out .
