You'd think that this would be the depths of winter, not middle of fall. But I'm loving the moisture!

Here's my front yard at about 730 this morning. It was about 17 degrees at that time. In the 3rd pic, you can see my 12' lilac is completely bent over.

On my way into work now. Sun's finally popping up over the horizon. Here's Long's Peak, which is the image on the Colorado quarter. This is driving north. The mountains are to my west.

Driving due west, the mountain range is very pretty all covered in snow like that.

Mount Evans. The closest 14er (14,264ft above sea level) to Denver, about 80 miles for me. Gonna hike that next year.

Crying I don't think I could deal with that in early November. I am just planting my fall bulbs now and my roses are still green and blooming.

We've been getting light frost here at night. Until two days ago the highs were in the seventies. But now it's chilly with 30 MPH winds. I also have some bulbs to plant, though most I got into the ground last week.
