Hi Rita, I was just looking at your un-indentified tree/shrub. It appears to me one of the pink flowering Crape Myrtle. Possibly Carolina Beauty or Centennial Spirit. Here is a link show quite a few of the bright pink ones. http://aggie-horticulture.tamu...

It is a crepe myrtle. But most are trees and this one is a fairly short shrub. Maybe six and a half feet tall after ten years that I have had it. Thanks for the suggestions.
