Right near my son's school there is this patch of sedum creeping out from under a fence and onto the side walk. He calls it the tickle plant and picked this bit for his pot. I have another two pieces I collected after someone knocked it off.

Is this Blue Spruce? It's the piece that's in with the red sedum (I think it's sedum.)

It does look like 'Blue Spruce'. The red one could be 'Dragons Blood' sedum or a variation of it.

My son really loves this sedum and I want to to grow out a bit so we can make a beach pot. I want it to represent the water.

Thanks for a possible ID on the red one. I plucked them from a container that is believed to be abandoned. The sedum is in a barrel container and it hangs down the side of the pot. I pluck from it regularly to prevent a touch down (landscapers will kill it.)
In Spring is gets to be a deep dark green and slowly turns to a deep red.
