Use brightly colored electrician's tape or paint on the handles of your favorite garden tools. It makes finding them much easier when you lay them down in the garden.
Well! I guess you CAN teach an old dog new tricks!
Great idea Paul. Thanks. One can of fluorescent spray paint goes on the shopping list.

Why didn't I think of that? I even thought the other day: thank goodness those pruners are orange and I can see them in the dirt. Nothing wrong with making the ones orange that aren't! Great idea!!
Glowing spray paint is going on my shopping list also. Great tip Paul. I think I will get the very bright orange paint, can't miss that color. No more hunting for my tools that I laid down for just a minute.

I was working outdoors a couple days ago and was reminding myself to remember where I laid stuff down so I could find it (or not forget it outdoors) again. Great tip!

I started using electrical tape last year because the flourescent paint comes off too fast. We have 25 acres, and just this summer I found a shovel I leaned against a tree two years ago. It was still leaning there!
I've never had electrical tape that stuck worth spit. I must buy the wrong brand.
