I have a dracaena marginata which is growing too tall and spindly..just wondering if anyone has pruned their dracaena during Fall season, or do you wait to do it in Spring? Can you root the pruned off portion?

Dracaenas take well to pruning and grow easily from cuttings.

To your question of when?....they are really resilliant...so anytime is good...but unless you want to look at bare stalks for a while, I would wait until Feb....I would also give it more light at that time....

Me too. I agree
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
