Thanks... a lovely article... it's funny to me they have no great understanding of it .. as to it's benefits...some 40 years ago I'd take it almost daily it was somethiing I'd try to do for myself.. as I had more of a belief it was beneficial than any real information.. It was only available in the glass vials that you'd score with a stone and snap off.. and drink it through a tiny straw..
I buy honey from small keepers now as they usually don't remove the royal jelly when they harvest.. looking to market it on it's own.. you can taste the higher levels of it in their honey.
this is a new .. under development hive that sits on a window for viewing and providing space in more urban areas

I think the lack of research on royal jelly is due mainly to the fact that royal jelly isn't produced in large quantities and only when they are tending queen cells.

All that's available in my area is the capsules.
