The label on this said "Single Maidens Hair" but I can't find it under that ID. Help if you can please.

Could be Adantium capillus-veneris, there's more than one Adiantum fern though. I have two, Adiantum venustum and Adiantum pedatum, both got through the very hard winter we had last, 7 weeks below freezing down to -17C.

They have different habits, yours looks to have the habit of Adantium capillus-veneris..

Sherry...It looks like from Janets ID that the plant was correctly labeled......just not the whole name. It seems like some plants also have more than one name. This is a wonderful nursery with a wide variety of quality plants. The ID they have is what the grower gives them. I think 99% of the people who buy plants are satisfied the the common name and that's what they get labeled. This one was correctly labeled 'Maiden Hair Fern' but that wasn't sufficient for the data base. That is why I end up posting here for more complete information. Perhaps I should quit posting things that do not have a complete name and asking about things that do not appear on the data base. At least it doesn't say "house plant" Janet......thanks for the ID again
