That reminds me.....

I used to cut the rose bramble stems growing next to our property and lay them on the ground in my flower beds to deter the cats. Maybe I'll cut some next year and lay them on top on my containers and flowerbeds.

One year I bought a pretty flowering catmint for my container and didn't want the cats in it, so I stuck a bunch of plastic forks, pronged side up around it.

No, but the cats multiplied like crazy!

I can really understand cats being invasive. I can NEVER keep them out of my beds, or lap, or off the keyboard.

Ya'll are making me nervous, putting all those brambles down - be careful that they don't get *you*!

I was thinking the same thing Sheryl. They might as well just plant prickly pear cactus.

I cut down brambles to use them one year, and the wind blew them into the gardens, and that was not fun.

And Marilyn's going into business selling plastic forks.

I bet they looked better than my main line of defense against squirrels, the first time I planted bulbs: Stalag Chickenwire.

My neighbors are SO patient with my mess.

On the other hand, two of them DID move recently!
