I had written to a few web sites, asking permission to use their images for this article. Two days ago I received a confirmation letter from one of the companies: Euro Glassware, allowing me to share the images. Since the article was finished and waiting to be published, I decided to share them right here.

All available at www.EuroGlassware.com.

They have very nice quality pieces for those of you that want to splurge.

There are a few great companies I found and you can too. Go to Google images and type in glass rooters. Hurray!

although I would not recommend this for feeding humming birds .. I wrote a bad review that the paint inside the glass started coming off after a week.. after my review the company refunded my money even without me asking.. but for the price I think you can't beat it.. can remove the feeder tops or just put your cutting through the red top depending how fat your cutting is.. but I would not grow any edible cuttings in the thing.. sure it's made in china and lord knows what is in the paint that flakes off

Beautiful Becky. I agree with Chris, they are so interesting to look at that you don't even need to put anything in them. : )

Very cute Allison. What a shame about the peeling paint. You are right in not using it for birds or edible plant rooting.

Great article, Becky, with lots of ideas!

I have two Victorian hyacinth glasses, in which I forced hyacinths for many years. Loved the look of the roots on those! I tend to use the glasses now as rooting containers. Here's one:
