I vote for arbor with climbing. You could probably just see climbing color. The other badges are easier with a single object?

When I think of cottage gardens in image form, what first comes to mind is mass effect with layers. So, my two cents worth would be lots of somethings; be it climbing clematis, with a foreground of hollyhocks, lilies and columbines at their feet or some such. Old-fashioned somethings....

I think Dave takes a picture and reduces it to the simplest image. That's the way all the microbadges appear. Sort of like clip art. Simple. Big Grin

So, maybe a bit of a cottage with flowers almost obscuring it? Or a bit of a cottage door with masses of blooms in front of it?

That is the exact problem with trying to come up with a single representative image for a cottage garden , the more things you put in it the more it will look like a ''nothing blur"

Yes. If you look at the microbadges that already exist, It gives you an idea of just how simple it needs to be.

I tried to think simple , I know people don't often have picket fence but Bird bath , seemed to be confusing Couldn't find a trellis and that could be climbers or vines.
...And I do not think there is a single plant or two that would convey "cottage''

Maybe a single simple cottage? (house structure )

Oh, yeah!

I've been out looking around for a big sun bonnet with some simple flowers in it.... just to throw it out there for brainy mastication. Not finding what I wanted...yet.
