Please don't eat too much. It looks good for the day, but cold.

It is lovely here. Sunny and quite warm for this time of year. But I am too busy cooking to be spending time outside today.

The best Thanksgiving weather ever. SIL hooked up the holiday lights on the trellises in the back yard. The front yard is their responsability ,it will probably be done an a few weeks.
Back yard is on a timer. Teutuers light up at dusk and go off at 1 AM.

There were a few heucheras, spruces, hydrangeas and sage for a center piece. We keep it small so we can fit the food on the table.

Nice centerpiece!

I'm with you, Rita, I ate too much. But not enough to feel bad afterwards. Just the right too much amount.

We have two Thanksgivings. Our "kids" go to their in-laws on Thursday and we have another Thanksgiving on Saturday here. Just the opposite for Christmas Eve.

Strange that I didn't feel full yesterday. Didn't gain weight either, Not saying that it might go badly next week. The thing about eating duckling, we have only one meal of leftovers--2 meals for the pecan pie however. We tried 'sugar free' pecan last yr & while not horrid, not good either.

I over did. Really high glucose reading this morning. I'm working on bringing it down. It was worth it.

Once or twice a yr you ought to be able to eat a normal meal. Or sort of normal. We had carrots for a veg tonight & will do with left over squash tomorrow. Don't want the same veggie twice in a row.☺
