I've been blogging here all along, always doing the same thing with photos and texts, always grabbing photos from the same spot on my computer, never changing their size, always using Firefox.

In my two most recent blog posts, the first photo in each one will not enlarge. The rest of the images within a blog post will enlarge. I didn't notice this until tonight, but I think it's that first photo that it's happening to every time. It might even go back farther, I haven't checked the others.

Anybody else having that problem?

I use the blog much like writing an article and sometimes I do it without thinking about what I'm doing, sort of like I'm on autopilot. But I can't figure out what's different about that first picture.

It's a mystery to me.
Any ideas?

Did you remove the hyperlink code from that first image?

No, Dave, I didn't.

It's always only the first image, starting with and including the Nutcracker tutorial from a few weeks ago.

I really don't know what caused it, but the HTML code for making the link is gone. That could have happened a number of ways, but the main thing I can imagine is the image was clicked on in the editor tool, and then the hyperlink/chain icon was clicked which would remove the link code.

Re-doing the blog feature is starting to creep toward the high priority part of my TODO.

I think I've figured it out.
It does have to do with the chain icon. Exactly.

I understand what's happening but I'm not sure how to explain it to you, but you are right, it is that link icon. I also know how to keep it from happening now that I know what's causing it.

I just did a trial/test to check my theory.
My tech vocab is terribly limited, but my mind has grasped the concept so I think all's well now.

Thanks.

Maybe. It's happening when I write a paragraph, then click 'middle' for the next line. Once the cursor is in the middle, I add the photo, no text, then I've been going to the tree icon and hitting middle there again as an option. So what I was doing was double centering it (text and image). That left the link live, so in order move the cursor and get it back to flush left again, I had to unlink it. When I did that, it left the image without the url.

Make sense? It was my habit of double centering it that caused the problem.
Duh.
